While attending the University of Akron, Leslie A. Langa discovered that educational materials easily found in Akron were not readily available in the Cleveland area. Mystified that these materials were not available in her own community, she decided, with the support of her family, to open Education Avenue in Parma Heights in September 1999. We met with Leslie recently, and listened as she outlined the products available at Education Avenue;

Education Avenue offers a wide range of educational supplies, such as books, stickers, posters, and bulletin board materials used by teachers in their math, science, language, algebra, calculus, and social studies classrooms. We have globes, microscopes, telescopes, puzzles, workbooks, and arts and crafts items, in addition to educational games and toys for ages six months and up. We carry religious materials for Christian schools, and offer a catalog filled with items that can be ordered by request. We primarily serve the needs of pre-school through eighth grade, although we also carry many items for high school teachers.

We offer a wealth of educational games that make learning fun. As an alternative to video games, you can have fun while learning math skills and playing language games. These games are a nice way for families to spend time together while their children expand their educational horizons.
